It would give a lot more reason for me to actually grab a boat from time to time. I'd much rather an island that's not connected to the main island in any way and is only accessible by boat or plane. Personally I could do without it as I hardly ever go on or in the water anyway as boats are slow(at least they feel a lot slower than most cars in the games), all the scenery is the same, submersibles are reaaaally slow and you can hardly see 5 feet in front of you underwater most of the time. I can see people liking the underwater stuff.

The sad thing is that using a mod to remove the water just shows how much detail was put into the ocean but how much space was wasted that could have been used for more land.
